Vaillant's range of products includes wall mounted high efficiency and standard efficiency combination and system boilers as well as high efficiency traditional open vented boilers, cylinders and controls.

High Efficiency 'Condensing' Boilers
Vaillant high efficiency boilers use new energy saving technology to capture otherwise wasted heat and use fuel more economically - saving up to 35% when compared to an older existing boiler.  All Vaillant ecoTEC and ecoMAX boilers are SEDBUK Band 'A' rated and have efficiencies of over 90%.

Standard Efficiency Boilers
Vaillant standard efficiency boilers offer efficiencies over 78% which also means considerable savings when compared to an older existing boiler. All Vaillant standard efficiency boilers are SEDBUK Band 'D' rated.

Combination Boilers
As the name suggests a combination boiler supplies central heating and instantaneous hot water from the same single unit, and is therefore a ‘combination’ of both. It doesn’t need separate hot water cylinder and cold water tank, or the pipework and installation that would normally be associated with the more traditional system. Not only does it save space and supply hot water on demand it also eliminates the risk of water freezing in the roof-space during severely cold weather and makes installation simpler and faster.

System Boilers
System boilers provide central heating and also supply hot water indirectly via a hot water cylinder sited typically in an airing cupboard. They have a built-in pump and equipment which enables them to be used on a sealed central heating system.

Open Vent
Open vented heating systems are the typicaly older type or conventional system.  Open vent boilers provide central heating and also heat a storage cylinder from which hot water is supplied. They need a separate pump and tank in the loft for the heating system.

Storage Cylinders
Storage cylinders work with system and open vent boilers to store hot water which has been indirectly supplied by the boiler.  The most efficient types are unvented cylinders which supply mains pressure hot water.  These are purpose designed for use with system boilers.  Vaillant uniSTOR unvented cylinder range is available. 

Controls
Used to provide both time and temperature control heating and hot water for maximum flexibility and efficiency.

The EC 16 ~ 38 from eco hometec features the very latest in boiler technology

Developed around an innovative back panel the EC 16 ~ 38 uses laser welded waterways to interconnect the boilers main components. To facilitate ease of servicing the high grade austenitic stainless steel coiled heat exchanger and other major components are simply plugged into the panel.

Designed using the very latest technology, the EC 16 ~ 38 incorporates the unique eco hometec premixing, fully modulating, radiant gas burner, 3 bar pressure relief valve, manometer and circulating pump .

Unlike most boilers that simply switch on and off the EC 16 ~ 38 incorporates an integral compensating and modulating digital controller that automatically adjusts the boilers output from 3kW to 46kW depending on model and system load requirements.

This feature, Variable Controlled Output, (VCO) is the very latest from eco hometec in condensing technology and ensures the EC 16 ~ 38 maintains optimum efficiencies even when operating at part load.

VCO from eco hometec

The eco hometec range of VCO boilers have been specifically designed to overcome the system design requirements in order to maintain condensing mode.

To achieve optimum efficiency from a condensing boiler we need to control the temperature of the water returning to the boiler.

This can best be achieved by adjusting the output of the boiler and/or the pump speed.

Unlike most boilers with a constant input and output the EC 16 ~ 38 range incorporates an integral compensating and modulating digital controller that automatically adjusts the boilers output (1:5) from while simultaneously adjusting the integral pump speed to maintain condensing mode.

This feature, Variable Controlled Output, (VCO) is the very latest from eco hometec in condensing technology and ensures the boiler  maintains optimum efficiencies even when operating at part load and overcomes the problem of condensing boiler installations only condensing from start up or when the system water is cold.
