OSO 20 Series

The Oso 20 series is a stainless steel unvented cylinder specifically manufactured for UK water conditions and regulations.

Main Technical Information :
  • Design: Designed to meet and exceed the requirements of Parts G and L of the building regulations, the cylinders offer a combination of high heating performance, low standing heat losses, ease of fitting and a neat and professional appearance.
  • Efficency: Heat exchangers of up to 26kw ensure that condensing boilers operate at high efficiency levels, while the CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation ensures that heat losses are kept to a minimum
  • Cylinders: Unlike most other products, Oso cylinders do not require a separate vessel to accommodate thermal expansion of domestic hot water. The cylinders use a self-generating air gap at the top of the unit, meaning that the units are neater and more space-efficient, and are faster and cheaper to install.
  • Installation: Oso cylinders are very straightforward and fast to install. A full unvented kit is supplied, with one valve combining 6 different functions, further reducing installation time.
  • Sizes: The 20 series is available in direct and indirect heating formats and 6 sizes from 100 to 330 litres.
  • 100 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 720 mm x Depth 580 mm (127 Kg.)
  • 125 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 900 mm x Depth 580 mm (159 Kg.)
  • 170 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 1150 mm x Depth 580 mm (209 Kg.)
  • 210 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 1400 mm x Depth 580 mm (255 Kg.)
  • 250 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 1600 mm x Depth 580 mm (297 Kg.)
  • 330 litre: Width 580 mm x Height 2090 mm x Depth 580 mm (391 Kg.)

Hotwater Storage Cylinders - Conventional (Vented)

Albion COMBINATION UNITS - BS3198: 1981

Albion combination units offer traditional open vented stored hot water in either direct, indirect or single feed patterns. The full British Standard range is available, other sizes can be made to requirement.

By storing the cold supply, tanks can be taken from the loft space. Installation is made simpler without the need to run pipes to and from the cold cistern.

With an integrated cold supply, these units offer a practical and efficient solution where space and easy installation are important factors.

  • Shell all copper to BS 2870 with zinc free brazing alloy. Tubes to BS EN 1057.
  • Aluminium close fitted lid.
  • Three male or female up to 1". Immersion Heater Boss 2 1/4". Drain Boss 1/2" female. All sizes comply with BS 1566:2002 and are kitemarked Special sizes to order.

Albion UltraCyl 90 / 130

Exceeds British Standard pumped primary requirement. Meets new basic practice CHeSS standards. Albion Ultracyl can only be used with fully pumped primary systems.

Using the heat from your engine this efficient water heater can provide enough water for handwash on site. Applications include use for motorhomes, for workmen on site, e.g. Telecoms Industry, for agriculture workers and for the building and construction industries.

Seven litres of water can be stored and heated. The unit connects to the cooling system of any motor vehicle engine and has a thernostat control to prevent boiling.

Gledhill Hotwater Cylinders

Gledhill Building Products are manufactured under an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system which is independently audited and accepted BSI. All our products meet or exceed industry standards and comply with Water Regulations and Building Regulations.

All cylinders are available with either a top or side entry immersion heater boss on request and can be manufactured to suit: 10m, 15m or 30m working heads. Compression fittings are supplied and fitted free if required.

SAP Assessment - Use the appropriate loss factor in the ‘foam’ column in Table 2 of the SAP. The insulation thickness will normally be 30mm unless the client has specified otherwise. The factor for 30mm is 0.013GJ/Year/Litre.

Corrosion protection - All fully pumped indirect cylinders or combination tanks can be supplied with Corrosion Resistant Technology (CRT). This prolongs the life of the cylinder in aggressive water areas. (The mains water must be supplied by the mains water board - water from bore holes etc are not covered.)

Sizes - Generally domestic cylinder production encompasses capacities up to 360 litres in diameters from 300mm to 500mm, heights up to 2000mm and with working heads up to 30 metres. These are not limitations however, and many units outside these parameters are supplied every month at the suggestion of the specifier or our own design team.
