Solar Heating - Hot Water

Genersys 1000-4 Solar panel

The range of Genersys Panels are produced by our Slovakian partners led by the innovative German environmental Architect Johann Kollmannsberger. Although only 41, Kollmannsberger is one of the leading specialists in this field.

The panels are manufactured to the highest specification using high grade aluminium from one of the World’s leading aluminium manufacturers whose product is used in the production of top quality high performance car engines.

These panels are particularly suitable for integrated roof installations where the panel would become an integral part of the building.

These panels have a life expectancy of at least twenty years and require little or no maintenance. Households on average spend between 27% to 35% of their total energy cost on heating water. Panels, which act as a supplement to existing water heating arrangements, will significantly reduce bills and at the same time substantially reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Genersys have calculated that if half of our domestic housing were equipped with solar panels the United Kingdom would achieve all its international obligations in cutting greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide emissions and energy from renewable sources.

Genersys Energiser

The Genersys Energiser is a gravity fed hot water system requiring Noelectricity.

The Energiser is designed to last for a life time and require very little maintenance. The Energiser is simple to assemble. It is supplied with detailed instructions and a compass to ensure optimum alignment for maximum performance.

The Genersys Energiser will produce domestic hot water for a family all year round by harnessing the Free natural energy from light. The Energiser does not need direct sunlight; it will be powered by the light available on a cloudy day.

The Energiser has at its heart a specially designed solar panel manufactured to the highest European engineering standards. This panel generates the energy required to heat water. Unlike some systems, the Energiser does not pass the domestic hot water through the solar panel.Passing domestic water supplies through a solar panel can cause harm and damage to the internal parts of the panel through lime scale and chemicals that may be dissolved in the domestic water supply.

The Energiser keeps the domestic water supply separate from the panel. Instead, it uses a heat exchanger system where water circulates by gravity through the panel and into a special cylinder mounted above the panel. The cylinder encloses another internal cylinder. The external cylinder acts as part of the heat exchange system, heating the domestic hot water that is contained within the internal cylinder.

The heat exchange system is pressurised, so that heat can be captured at temperatures well in excess of boiling point and safely delivered to the cylinder. The water temperature can be regulated by an adjustable thermostat according to individual needs.
